sighed and looked at his watch.  “This is the only exception and I can’t guarantee that I’ll actually fall asleep.” 

 

“Me either,” she agreed turning off the lamp.    

 

He grabbed his cell phone from the ottoman and set his alarm for six.  He had just under two hours before he’d have to leave.
