“Where have you been all this time?” she asked leaning against the wall.  Her feet were killing her.  She started unbuckling the silver heels. 

 

“I have a stomach ache.  Did you want me to tell you that I was going to blow out a bathroom at some dude’s house in the middle of a crowded party?  Come on, Kristin, even that embarrasses me.”    

 

“Yeah,” she agreed.  “But like, you’ve been gone over an hour and where are Mark, Brody and Tommy?”
