Lance and Centriar rode fast and hard past Hazelwood, their large animal army following steadily. Dijano kept pace with the copper stallion, his long horn glinting in the afternoon light. The Luthanian knight could see the battle taking place just on the other side of the village. Explosions broke the air as they neared the Luthanian camp. Soldiers turned to stare aghast at the new arrivals. Lance slowed Centriar down and asked one soldier where he could find Lord Bolden.

“He is over that way with the cannons,” the soldier responded after finding his voice and redirecting his gaze at the knight. “They are launching an attack on the Shamace.”

Lance nodded and urged Centriar forward. Spotting Lord Bolden, he guided the copper stallion over and watched the commander’s eyes widen at the sigh...
