The commander nodded and rode over to the wagons. Cleverly camouflaged, they looked like the enemy’s vehicles. Quickly, he reviewed the strategy with the leader and then watched as the heavy wagons slowly rolled off. While they made their way to the northern side of the valley, Lord Bolden rode over to the knights to oversee the planned charge. Horses were being checked over by their riders to make sure their armor was secure. Dogs strained at the end of their leashes, barking excitedly at the activity around them. Pages were preparing the knights’ armor and weapons.
