“What do you think I should do?”

“The choice must be made by you. Only you know the path you must follow. Do not blame Kaira because she has chosen to accept what has been thrust upon her.” He turned and left her alone.    

Shal stood up also and pondered over the prince’s words as she walked around the small garden. His words did make sense. Maybe I’m not being very fair to Kaira, she thought. After all, it’s not like Kaira asked for this to happen. She recalled past conversations with Kaira where the slender blonde confided her confusion over what was happening. She realized that, in fact, she was being a little bit selfish. This wasn’t Kaira’s fault and it wasn’t her fault either. It just happened.
