Mia turned on her heels.

Luke had seen how her eyes had filled. He felt like he’d been kicked in the gut, when those tears started to land on her cheeks. Then she walked out and he felt utter shame.

    ‘Mia, Mia!’ He’d tried to grab her hand, but she’d moved too quickly and he didn’t want to create a scene. ‘Take an early siesta,’ he called to the crew.

    Then he jumped in his car and went to after her, she was walking along the dusty road.

    ‘Mia get in, please! you’ll get sunstroke walking.’ He pulled over and jumped out of the car to try and stop her.

    ‘Luke don’t!’ she warned when he tried to block her way.
