I am a creative

Told at an early age that words have power

I shape a space

A place where my voice speaks in volumes

Words that pierce deep

We won’t be silenced or loose strength

When I see my brothers and sisters deprived of their last breath

Deliberately, artfully and creatively I protest

And words run the globe for miles in step

Galloping on the back of ancestors, ukuhambra

Danced in the fields with fertilized dreams within this nation’s darkest hour

They already set in motion

Freedom’s holler

Truth never sleeps and will speak

We speak now

Truth to Power

We will rise and create our vision

Allowing our tickled tonsils to enunciate our grievous gro...
