What to do when our kids share their heart 

That moment we realize

They are not ready to be on their own

I normally don’t talk about my spirituality

But this is different

It's prayer I seek

I’m a mother of course I respond

I’m here to support and encourage my kids

Along the pathway to success

That could mean all sorts of things, I guess

Milestones or the in-between

First job

First car

First house

Just kids being successful in transitioning

Into taking full responsibility for themselves

I’m in New Waters Lord, I’m going to need a lot of wine
