At the mention of Captain Gildon, Tania tried to remember that Thayne had at least given her some privacy in that memory. He had spared her from reliving that particular experience and looked away when she asked. This truth enabled her to speak without spewing profanities at him. His indelicate methods had at least caused him to mistrust Ochxon. She must move beyond anger and use that while she had the chance.

"So will you let me go?” she asked as calmly as possible.
