"I'm going to reverse my invocation," Thayne said. "It would be wise if you allowed me to bind you with rope instead. The light of The Creator would crush your body within hours."

Tania stared at him, but did not answer. She could scarcely believe her luck. Was the fool going to release her while they were all alone in the woods? She would never have a better chance.

"I see that gleam in your strange eyes and I would advise you against whatever you are planning," Thayne cautioned as he moved closer.

She lowered her gaze and barely breathed as her mind raced with possibilities. If he thought she was going to submit as a prisoner under Lord Ballimore, then he was insane. She would die before being at his mercy.
