CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Sybille

Sleep came as a relief to Sybille and when she woke up the next morning, she no longer felt the same way she had the night before. 

“I'm such a jerk,” she said aloud, remembering how she had reminded Lucas again about sleeping with her sister.  “You are going to lose him if you keep that up,” she muttered and jumped out of bed, refueled and ready to make a better person of herself.

Sybille threw on the jogging clothes she hadn’t worn since. . .well, she wouldn’t remind herself of that again.  She would go for a jog and enjoy the beautiful morning.  The sun was streaming through her window like ribbons of hope.  She realized she was smiling and wondered why she had felt so unlov...
