Kate was staring out the window and still wearing her pajamas.  Her hair looked greasy and her glasses were smudged.  Sybille shuddered at the sight, wondering how Lucas could ever have mistaken her for her older sister.  She pulled her eyes away from Kate when she walked by.  She thought purposely ignoring her sister would make her feel better, but instead, there was an undeniable prickle of guilt. She was never purposely mean to anyone.  It went against everything she believed.  She grabbed an apple on the way out and ate it as she hurried to the restaurant.
