Theresa

Theresa was quiet during supper and campfire.  When she and Randi were both in their bunks and the other girls in the cabin were discussing the cutest boys and the day’s events, Theresa began to tell Randi about her talk with Kirk earlier in the day.

“He said he’s going to become a priest,” Theresa whispered.

“He did?  When? What did he say?”  Randi whispered loudly.

Theresa gave Randi the details, each word pointing out just how strange it all sounded.

Randi didn’t speak for a minute after Theresa finished.  “That sounds kinda familiar,” said Theresa finally.

“What?  How can that weird story sound familiar?”  This was not what Theresa expected Randi to say.
