Theresa

Kirk was waiting for Theresa after her canoe lesson.  Randi said hello and then left to return to the cabin alone. 

“Can you go for a walk?” he asked when Randi left. 

“That depends.  Are you going to turn into a vampire?” she teased.

Kirk smiled and said “Only if you’re lucky.” 

They walked along the path that circled the lake.  He held her hand and she felt comforted by the familiar act.  He asked her about her lesson and she told him she felt she and Randi were improving.  Drake and his friend had left them alone except to wave when their canoes came close together.  She had removed his earrings after the campfire.
