Cara

Cara’s mother looked into her room and found her daughter laughing.

“What’s so funny, honey?” her mother asked.

“Oh, this part about Theresa and her boyfriend.  I can’t believe they got back together.”

“They had a pretty unique relationship.”

“I can see.”

“Wanna go out for lunch?” said her mother.

“But then I’ll never finish this book.  Can we just eat at home?”

Cara’s mother smiled at her daughter’s dedication.  “Are you liking it, then?”

“Yeah.  I kinda forget this is your life I’m reading about.  Well, I don’t really know which life is yours, but it just seems like a good book. ...
