Her mother sighed.  “I have no idea.  He didn’t tell me anything about it and now all of us are going to suffer.”

“Do I have to give back my Nintendo?”  Jeffrey said with a quivering lip.

Their mother shrugged one shoulder and slumped in her chair.  “I don’t know honey.  We all might lose things we love, but we can’t lose each other.  That’s what I wanted to tell you.  This next year might be hell, but I love you guys more than anything and I really hope we don’t blame each other for all of this.”
