When I began chronicling my faith stories, I began to notice that my family’s needs seemed to multiply. One day, a thought occurred to me as I was jotting as many notes for the epilogue of the book as for the book itself. In the process of writing a book on faith stories, financial pressures and health issues threatened to cause our family to unravel. But, I thought, why wouldn’t they? I wasn’t writing this book in a bubble. Why wouldn’t the process of writing the book turn into a faith story of its own?
