‘We said our goodbyes early this morning. That’s why I can’t stop yawning, we stayed up talking all night. Have you seen her new flat? It’s got sensors so that you can switch the lights on and off by clapping. We played Another One Bites the Dust at full volume to see what happened. We had a good laugh with that.’

‘I haven’t yet, but I’m picking her up later. I find it a little surprising that she’s decided to get her own place now. I thought she’d stay with her parents until she got married. And God knows I put a lot of effort through the years on encouraging her to leave that place....
