‘I can’t believe it worked,’ Erin said, dropping her shopping in a corner.

‘Where is Cabot now?’ Reece asked.

‘In Girona, being interrogated,’ Vilalta said. ‘We’re hoping to get more information before the end of the day.’

‘How did you find him?’ David asked.

‘He was spotted in a car outside the city centre car park, apparently waiting for you.’

‘That was hours ago! So we didn’t need to go to the shopping centre after all?’

‘There was the possibility of his accomplices showing up, so…’

They got some cold drinks and flocked to the living room.

‘That was unexpected,’ Adam said. ‘Nice fresh bandage, by the way, Reece. Stylish.’
