They got a small, uninteresting car perfect for some cruising. With the help of the map Laura had given them, which had the clubs marked on it, they devised an itinerary around the coastal resort the group of revellers had visited the night before.

By the time Charlie and Rachel had decided to organise the wedding, everything on the beach was full already. The hotel they had booked exclusively for the week was the best place they found at such short notice with enough rooms for all the guests: not too shabby, technically in the Costa Brava area although about ten miles away from the waterfront in a straight line, a short stroll away from a beautiful medieval village, and a considerable distance from the nearest town. The leaflet on the room desk assured the reader that the beach was only ten minutes away...
