Huntsman made the mistake of looking down while jumping from one rooftop to the other. It didn't keep him from making the jump, but it elicited laughter from Libertine, already on the roof he landed on. She and Kensei always made the leaps look easy, what with Libertine's telekinetic powers and Kensei's martial art and parkour training.

He sighed as he looked at them, but before he said anything, a flash of motion below caught his attention. He raised one gloved fist to signal the other two heroes to stop and then crouched at the edge of the roof. On the street below, an eight-foot-tall man dressed in nineteenth-century style clothing goose-stepped his way toward a storefront.

Libertine joined Huntsman at the edge of the roof. "What is that?"
