Kara looked up at the screen, noticing her grappling gun lying far out of her reach. The sky pitched, and then jolted as an enemy mecha lifted Terasu up to face level.

"Keiko, can you get to the grappling gun?"

Keiko glanced up over the edge of her cockpit. "If I do, we won't be able to go anywhere."

"Leave that to me. Get the gun, and get Erina out of her leg."

Keiko nodded, and Kara turned her attention back to the enemy mecha in front of them. She pulled her arms down into the tucked resting position.

"Do you surrender?" Lights danced across the mouth of the mecha in time with its tinny voice.

Kara hesitated, sparing a quick glance down at Keiko, who stood at the top of Terasu's left leg. Erina's head poked up...
