“Jaqk? It’s time. We can finally be one soul. Forever.”

The horizon burns with the afternoon sun. Against that horizon, Siron stands, lumbering toward a tank battalion. Every few seconds, the tanks fire as one, then back up in constant retreat.

They fire.

In the haze, high above the world, Siron looks down. The deep blue sky fades in and out around her with every step, her body a giant compared to even its former self. She's over ten miles tall and growing as she consumes more of the world.

Her gaping maw casts a shadow over the tank battalion as they fire again in unison like a slow, rhythmic heartbeat.

She advances across the great plain, erasing more of the Earth with each step. They retreat, falling back further into the doomed world...
