Nothing.

"Magno, what's going on?" I press.

Static. A blip and a buzz, then more static.

"Magno, come in!" the general demands.

A growl fills the line that chills me to the marrow.

"Oh, yes," Magno replies. "Everything's just PEACHY!"

Wendigo shoots out from the mountain of rubble. Debris flies in all directions, even striking the base of our peak.

"Just LOVELY!"

Wendigo wraps his claws around Kintalo's neck before the kaiju figures out what’s happened. His claws sink deep into the monster’s throat, black blood flowing down and over his chest. Kintalo grasps at the arms now lifting him from the ground, but Wendigo holds tight...
