“The thing may have even had something to do with her disappearance, what with the way she's still wearing that damn dress.” His words come out strained. “Who knows how long it's been playing this game.”

My heart wrings. But as I think this over, one question comes hurtling out from my subconscious.

"Why would you listen to her?"

"What are you talking about?" Uncle Alex raises a brow">
