He just stands there, examining my sword while two US soldiers wait behind him, guns aimed at my head.

I instinctively throw up my hands. The soldiers’ guns jostle as they flinch; the Japanese man doesn't even notice.

"Kill Train?" he asks softly.

"What?"

"Kill Train," he repeats as he sets my sword in the doorway. "Your sword’s a replica of Takeda's. You like that show?"
