Against my will, I find myself awake near midnight.

If I had a dream, it wasn't worth remembering. The last thing I recall is falling asleep in the afternoon. The next thing I know, I'm waking to Monique's face inches from mine.

I couldn't ask for anything better.

She's asleep, probably has been for an hour or more. I wonder if I should—or can—move without waking her up. I start slowly, letting my legs glide before falling over the side. I slip my bare feet into slippers and rise slowly from the bed.

I can't help but look down and see the toll the work is taking on her. She's taken on so much of the channel's inner workings that it may as well be called Moniquezgamez. She handles most of the editing, recording, sound mixing...
