CHANNILLO

Series Description:

Rosie finds comfort in searching for herbs and berries in the forest that surrounds her home. Ever since her husband disappeared after an argument between them, her relationship with her teenage son has become strained and the forest was her only refuge. Until now.

One afternoon while Rosie is out gathering herbs, a strange storm hits and a bolt of lightning strikes nearby. A boy cries out in pain. Rosie rushes through the thicket believing it might be her son only to find a silver haired boy laying unconscious in a black crater. He is mute. She calls him Silver.

Now she has two teenage boys to raise. The forest around them is suddenly full of savage creatures that are making it impossible to safely live there any longer. And that's when the letter arrived. It was from her husband.
