The breath shared between

Two lungs can be lethal.

It can be beautiful whether

Shared underneath a sunset or

A run down abandoned building.

Our hearts will be the same

Regardless of the setting.

I’ve seen more passion

In the love shared between two

Junkies in Philly then in my mother and father.

I’ve heard better romance from fabricated

Novels then from my grandmother’s time.

Love is a forever changing equation,

A lesson that is self taught.

No hours of studying can prepare you for it,

Only raw emotions and experiences.
