I walked slowly around this cold town

Kicking leaves on the ground that fell

From sleeping trees as I thought

About you, everything, but nothing

At the same time.

 

The thoughts of how you almost

Stole a man’s eyesight would've

Made me feel joy if demons and

Angels didn't destroy my lungs and

My heart, and if you were still here

But god I don't even know where you are.

 

Are you up there or are you still

Lingering around in your house

Shaking her bed and giving

Her vivid nightmares?

 

If you are floating in the sky do I even,

Wanna dare to think about all the,

Things you've watched me do.
