I planned to leave permanently,
For you to never see me again.
I wanted to be buried in the ground,
Never to make a sound.
To have my veins grow into,
The ground planting their roots,
To be sublime flowers,
In another lifetime.
I wanted you to pass my grave,
As if it were nothing, as if I,
Was nothing more than a skeleton.
But that did not happen.
It broke my heart, but you knew,
I was safe.
Although there was nothing,
You could do.
I attempted to make that obvious,
That you would be fine,
And that time,
Would heal the wounds that I opened.
