The words captivated him. Every single one in all of the several languages he spoke. Even as he lay in his last moments gradually slipping away to death each second, he pulled out a dictionary opening it to a random page, and placing his shaky skeletal hand on a line with his eyes closed. Once he opened his eyes the word his eyes scanned over was “endowed.”
