Laura is a teacher who loves to write about her home state of Michigan (and beyond). She holds a BA in Creative Writing from WMU where she studied under Stuart Dybek.  Her debut novel 'Evening in the Yellow Wood' was released in December of 2018 (Pandamoon Publishing).  When not writing, she likes to perform in theater and with her Celtic band Si Bhaeg Si Mohr, as well as spend time with her husband, four children, one dog, three cats, two horses and innumerable gerbils and chickens.
