Survival movies can be inspirational, psychological thrillers, or horror, depending on the overall presentation. Adam Green’s Frozen (2010) has been categorized as psychological horror on Wikipedia but not so on its IMDb page, where it remains Thriller/Adventure/Psychological Thriller. Is it eligible for a seat among the horror movies?

Frozen is the story of three friends – two young guys and a girl – who are forgotten on a chairlift at a ski resort on the last night before the resort closes for a week. Thus stranded outside in freezing weather, abandoned and forgotten way up from the snow-covered grounds in a chairlift, the trio is left to figure out how to survive.
