Chapter three: Miss Pea’s World

Through Purrsephone’s eyes…everything was a bit of a blur. But she knew the border of her world was surrounded by the kitchen corner where her food dish sat, the pillow on top of her bed, and the window where she watched birds and squirrels. When she opened her eyes after napping, and a dim light filled the room, there was another being that she recognized as kindred. Family. They sometimes sat, nose to nose, breathing in each other’s essence, learning about each other with their eyes.
