Once they were quite sure of who Joseph really was, Joseph told them to hurry and go get their father.  He offered to provide them a place to live in the land of Goshen where they would be cared for over the next five years until the famine was over.  Goshen was located just outside of Egypt and Joseph would be able to keep everyone well supplied.  I heard Joseph tell them to hurry so that they wouldn’t become destitute.  He also told them to bring their children, grandchildren, and all of their flocks, and herds; along with anything else that they felt that they would need to bring.  Before his brothers left, he reminded them to tell their father of the great honor which had been bestowed upon him and told them to try and explain to their father everything that he had told them,...
