As the men prepared to leave the next morning, I heard Joseph give instructions to the steward of the house to fill all of the men’s satchels with food, and to return the silver to their bags as well.  Then the last request he gave the steward, was to have him put his silver goblet in the youngest one’s sack.  Once the brothers were on their way and not far from the city gates, Joseph told his steward to go after them and ask them why they had stolen from him after he had done nothing but show them hospitality.  He told the steward to ask them why they had stolen his silver goblet, which he used for drinking and divination.  When the steward eventually caught up with the brothers, he spoke to them and asked them if they had stolen a silver goblet from the governor. ...
