I could see the glares in the boys’ eyes that night as they looked at Joseph from across the room.  They knew that Joseph had been the one to tell their father about what they had done to the sheep and they hated him for it.  The brothers snickered and whispered to each other, glancing in Josephs direction every so often; they seemed to be plotting some sort of revenge.  I could tell without a doubt that Jacob loved Joseph more than his other sons and Joseph had the prime spot at the dinner table to prove it.  Joseph sat proudly next to his father while his brothers looked on.  I could see their envious green eyes casting evil thoughts his way and their gazes pierced a hole right through his heart.  I wondered what they would try to do to Joseph if they were given the chanc...
