When Jacob awoke from his dream, he sat upright at once and began talking to himself.  It was funny to hear him proclaiming what he had just seen and heard; as if there were somebody standing right in front of him in which he was speaking to.  Jacob had never realized until this moment, how real God was; and because of his dream, he now felt God’s presence in a way which he had never felt before.  I heard him say aloud “How awesome is this place!  This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”  Soon Jacob settled down and went back to sleep.  When he awoke in the morning, the first thing I saw him do, was to take the rock which had been underneath his head, and he set it up as a pillar and poured oil over the top.  The place w...
