As is often typical in life, all good things usually come to an end; which seemed to be exactly what was happening in this particular case.  I suddenly found myself in the middle of a conversation between Abraham and God.  I could hardly believe what I was hearing though.  The same God who I had witnessed in recent years, do so many wonderful and marvelous things, was now completely confusing me.  I remembered back to all the things He had done to ease suffering and bring about future blessings, and yet now, he was asking Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac.  This was the same child who had been promised to be the fulfillment of Abraham's destiny.  The miracle child, born of parents who were too old to have children of their own.  I couldn’t wrap my head around what I was h...
