Masuda stood there, looking livid.
“Mind your own business,” Luke told him bluntly.
“This is my business. You don’t speak to women like that.”
“I will speak to her how I wish, she is my wife.”
Masuda barked out a laugh. “No, she isn’t.”
Hannah noted that Luke flexed his fists, but didn’t say anything. She wanted them both to go away so she could climb into her car and cry. She wondered if Masuda could see how shaken she was or had simply stepped in because it was the right thing to do.
