“Hello, Hannah.” A male voice said with forced civility.

Hannah’s head snapped up from the phone screen she had been staring at, considering if she should go talk to Masuda or just let things be. “Luke.” She blinked, she was more surprised to see him there than she had been to find Masuda visiting someone in the facility. “What are you doing here?” Hannah gathered her coat around her like armor, not to guard her against the biting chill in the late afternoon air, but from the man that stood before her.

“I thought I would see where you worked.” He moved to close off any escape for her. She was now trapped between her car and another one, with large thick bushes in front of the parked cars.
