Author Bio For Alexander Duncan:

Alexander Duncan Biography:

Alexander Duncan is a native of the Pacific Northwest, and a graduate of the University of Oregon Theater Department. For Alex -- the genesis of all pursuits in life begin with the discovery of the theater. Once Alex found the magic of the theater, life became an exploration and an adventure. His involvment in this magical world of artifice, began late in high school, and intensified while a student at the University of Oregon. Near the end of his time at the University, Alex performed Shakespeare in the San Franciso Bay Area.

Then it was on to New York, and the life of a vagabond actor. For a number of years Alex appeared in a variety of productions throughout the country -- off-bway, off-off bway, dinner theater, school tours, children's theater, and a smattering of film and television work.

Eventually the wheel spun, the universe expanded, and Alex went on to other possibilities. Writing became paramount. He pursued opportunities in the nonprofit sector, primarily as a writer: grants, appeal letters to donors, short speeches, newsletter articles, and informational material.

More recently, Alex has turned to short stories, articles, and poems. He is also the author of two short produced plays.

Alex has lived for some time in New York City, and currently resides with his wife, two cats, and a beautiful view of the bay - on Staten Island.
