He knows what he deserves,

The truth has never been hidden,

As mad as he is, nothing else matters,

So, he feeds his hate and keeps it warm.

The hate toward the world telling him to change,

And toward his love, forcing him to be better,

All this hate because of the reality he can’t face,

May lead him to his doom, but who cares?

Denial is safe; it’s easier,

And hate has never bothered him before,

Feeling like home, it’s his safe space,

So his hate, he feeds with the resentment he keeps.
