Feeling pain that wasn’t mine.

Did you not see me trying?

Mending the bonds that I didn’t break.

What more can I give to the world?

I have given it all to one person.

My heart, my soul, and the love,

Everything that I had to share.

Have I not done enough?

For the people who betrayed me in the end.

Where does this road lead?

If I could turn, I would.

Who knew it was longer than my life?

The path I took when I didn’t know any better.

Have I not cried every day?

What more can I give when I’m left with nothing?
