To entwine your feelings with someone else,

So much so that you’re vacant without them,

Seems to be folly, but that’s what it is;

To fall in love.

Giving all your control over to an emotion,

That will seize your heart, never letting go,

It sounds like madness, but that’s how it is;

To make someone your entire world.

And then watch it crumble with their indifference.
