She says my heart is strong,

and able to withstand any wrong-

Even in pain, it beats with might,

defying odds, it sure can fight.

It'll keep going despite all I've lost,

never faltering, no matter the cost-

She says it powers on with determination,

battered and beaten, it's still an inspiration.

She tells me only what I need to hear;

Robust or not, my heart is devoid of fear.
