there is a gravity

     a pull to the muscle

          as I stand outside the walls

the sentries take no bribes

     no locks can be picked

          attendance by invitation only

you hang portraits in the atria

     a gallery of unwise suitors

          a gift of warning to fools

the chambers, a maze

     the path convoluted

          a journey not meant to be rushed
