Bennett realizes her confusion was probably showing on her face. She was really wondering where she put the wine bottle, but that stuff was good to know too. She spies the bottle on the counter and reaches over to snag it, filling her cup again and only spilling a little more than she did already.

 

“After they discharged me I hung around in Connecticut awhile to finish up some business…” He blushes and Bennett knows that by ‘business’ he means ‘relationship’.
