Bennett rolls up to the church and wrestles her musty mat out of the backseat. She gives it a sniff. She has been neglecting her yoga for a while. Fallen out of the habit and all that. She snorts. What good habits hasn’t she fallen out of lately?

She locks the door and hustles to the front door. God she hates the cold.
It’s warm inside the church and she can hear people laughing in the meeting room. Bennett had discovered the UU church accidentally years ago when she’d been out for a walk with the boys. She’d been pushing her two little fat babies around in her brand new double-wide stroller, huffing and puffing up every hill she could find, trying to get the baby fat on her to melt away....
